Leh-Ladakh Tour (7-10 days):

Day 1: Arrival in Leh

Arrival: Arrive at Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport. You'll be greeted by your travel agent’s representative.

Rest & Acclimatization: Leh is at a high altitude (11,500 feet), so it’s essential to rest and allow your body to acclimatize.

Evening: A leisurely walk around Leh Market or visit the Shanti Stupa for sunset views.

Day 2: Explore Leh – Local Sightseeing

Day 6: Leh to Tso Moriri Lake

Morning: After breakfast, drive towards Tso Moriri Lake (around 240 km, 6-7 hours). This remote lake lies in the Changthang Plateau and is known for its spectacular beauty.

Afternoon: Arrive at Tso Moriri, a pristine high-altitude lake, surrounded by barren hills and wildlife.

Evening: Relax by the lake or take a short walk around its shores.

Best Time to Visit: The ideal time to visit Ladakh is from May to September, when the roads are open and the weather is pleasant. Winter (November to February) is very harsh and roads might be closed due to snow.

Health & Acclimatization: Leh is at high altitude, and it is crucial to spend the first 1-2 days acclimatizing to avoid altitude sickness.

Permits: For certain areas like Nubra Valley, Pangong Lake, and Tso Moriri, Inner Line Permits (ILP) are required. A good travel agent will arrange these for you.
